The change in students' department or major to another department or major within the school.
Eligibility and Criteria
- The student can change only once during the period of enrollment.
- Only for students in grades 2-4 who have completed at least two semesters and earned at least 1/4 of the graduation credit

- Acceptable within 20% of admission capacity per recruitment unit
However, departments deemed necessary by the President may not allow transfers or may limit the number of students.
- In the case of an international student applying for a change due to language or academic difficulties, priority will be given within 10% of the number of eligible transfers.
- If any of the followings is true, the transfer is not allowed
- Transferring to the Department of Medical Education under the Medical Law or the Department of Medical Engineer Training under the Law on Medical Engineers
- In the case of applying for a transfer (transfer-in) to a department related to the Teacher Education
- If the specialty student applies for a subject that is not related to his/her specialty field
- Transferred students (Except specially transferred students)

Print Application form and fill it out
Consult to the head of the existing department (school) and confirm
Fill out the Application Form and submit it to the Transfer Department
Log in the Integrated Information System to apply
Final decision after deliberation by the committee
Required documents: Application form, Study Plan, Transcript, Other documents needed, etc.
Credit Recognition and Course Completion
- Credits earned in the existing departments are recognized as general elective courses, and the student must take a specific major course designated by the transferred department.
However, the course that is the same as that of the transferred department (major) may be credited according to the completion of the transferred department (major) through the deliberation of the relevant department (deputy) head and chief professor.
Enrollment
- Students who have transferred must register to the transferred department within the designated period.
- The tuition fee may be substituted for the student who has registered before the transfer.
However, if the difference occurs due to the change in the department, the student must be refunded or make additional payment based on the amount of tuition fee already paid.
- Students who have transferred in 4th grade and do not meet the required credits for graduation within the school year must pay and register the tuition fee according to credits registered.
Scholarship Restrictions
- If the student was selected as a scholarship student at the time of admission, his/her eligibility for the scholarship would be lost.
However, eligibility may not be lost if approved by the President after deliberation by the Scholarship Committee.
