After canceling the course registration, be sure to check the cancellation history.
Course Credit
- The student must register for at least 15 credits and up to 21 credits, including retakes each semester.
Students who have completed six or more semesters can apply for a minimum of 9 credits (excluding retake credits).
- If a student has a GPA of 4.0 or higher without F, he/she can register for up to 24 credits, including retaking.
- If a student received a bachelor's warning (less than 1.5) in the previous semester, he/she is limited to 18 credits or less.
An exception applies to the student who has completed the Academic and Counselling Program of the Human Resource Development Office.
- The course exceeding the registration limitation will not be credited.
Note for Course Registration
- The student is responsible for any disadvantages caused by non-compliance to the instruction.
- Be sure to fully aware of the curriculum of the relevant department before enrolling.
- The course exceeding the capacity can not be enrolled in the relevant semester
- Credit will not be given if the same courses were duplicate enrolled.
- Courses with the same class hour cannot be enrolled.
- Students are fully responsible for the course registration, so be sure to check the details after registration, change, or cancellation.
- If a course is canceled according to Article 13 of the Course Operational Regulation as the number of students enrolled is less than 15, the student who enrolled in the relevant course must change course registration.
- A student will be considered absent if he/she misses the 1st week when to change course registration. If there is a course the student wants to change or take, he/she must attend the course. (the same rule applies to the closed course)
- To be acknowledged for the 1st-week attendance of the course enrolled during the change period, the certificate of attendance before the change must be submitted to the professor in charge of the changed course.
Change of course registration
- The period for changing course registration shall be specified within one week after the beginning of each semester.
- The student who registered for the course must verify it before the end of the changing period, and it is not allowed to change afterward.
Dropping of Course registered
- If a student gives up a course registered, he/she may not register another course instead. After dropping the course, total registered credits must be at least the minimum required credits per semester.
Minimum credits needed: at least 15 credits up to 6 semesters, at least 9 credits after 7 semesters
- Students can drop the registered course on the 4th week after the opening of the course.
- For dropping a course, log in the Integrated Information System and select "Academic Affairs → Course Registration→ Dropping the Course” on the school's homepage, and “Drop” for the course you want to drop out
course dropped out will be deleted, and become in the same state as before the registration.
Re-taking
- If a student's course grade is C + or lower, the student can retake the same course.
the relevant course is abolished, the student may retake an alternative course designated by the school.
- Course re-taking may not exceed 9 credits per semester
- The course acquired through retake may earn maximum B +. The grade before retake is not counted in the average but the final grade is averaged in the GPA.
- The retaken course will be marked (R) on the transcript.
Course split/Course Closing
- The class consists of 40 students in the theoretical subject or 30 in the practice subject. And the class can be split if 50 or more in the theoretical subject and 40 or more in the practice subject.
- Even if the above criteria are not met, it may be divided if it is unavoidable due to the characteristics of the course and the conditions of the practice room.
- The course with less than 15 students will be closed except for the followings.
- The teaching curriculum may not apply the criteria of less than 15 students to earn teaching credits.
- In the case that the enrolled students of the relevant department are less than 10 for the major subject.
- The course that needs to be opened for the operation will be decided separately by the President.
